Publishing principles

Ground report- an environment-centric digital media organization–adheres to principles prioritising accuracy, transparency, and responsibility in disseminating information. We are committed to presenting well-researched, solution-based reports that reflect climate change’s impact on India’s most vulnerable population. Our communication strategy emphasizes the intersectionality of environmental, social, and economic aspects, fostering a holistic understanding of the climate crisis.

Furthermore, we prioritize inclusivity by amplifying underrepresented voices and perspectives, ensuring an inclusive dialogue on climate issues. As a media organization, we strive to minimise our environmental footprint, embracing eco-friendly practices. Through these principles, we aim to empower grassroots journalists, and individuals from underrepresented communities to make informed decisions, contributing to a collective effort to mitigate climate change and build a sustainable future.

We advocate for sustainable practices and policies that address the root causes of climate change while promoting solutions that ensure a just transition. In pursuit of objectivity, we maintain editorial independence and avoid sensationalism. We aim to engage a diverse audience, fostering a sense of collective responsibility and inspiring meaningful action.
